Question: Will this hold a few smaller Umbrellas without collapsing?
Answer: if you intend on using this basket as an umbrella stand, it would fall over unless you put a weight in the base. I use mine to hold towels or toilet paper rolls and place them under the sink or near the shower.

Question: Once it is shaped after shipping will it hold that shape? I'm wanting to use it to hold library books and don't want the side to collapse when sitting
